Clean and fun cabin
This little cabin was perfect for our family of 4 (kids are 8 and 5). The kids thought it was the "best hotel we have ever stayed in." It was clean when we arrived and they thought the loft was incredible. The bathroom is also very nice, with an extremely deep tub and a standing shower with a door that leads to an outdoor shower.
The (covered) outdoor grill and side burner are perfect for cooking an outdoor meal, and the pool area is just a short walk away. We definitely want to come back again, especially when the pool is a bit warmer. The lazy river, swim-up bar, water slide, and drink service definitely add a nice touch.
You could definitely bring bikes if you wanted to ride around the streets of the neighborhood. About 3/4 of a mile away there is also a little (catch and release) fishing pond. There are a few ducks that hang around the pond as well. My kids loved seeing them up close.
The only disadvantage with the unit is the extremely small sink, lack of dishwasher, and lack of an oven. There were several other units under construction right outside the cabin so occasionally the construction noise was a distraction. Obviously that will no longer be an issue after a few months. We still had a blast and plan on returning in the future.

Great family get away!
We rented Cabin 12 and Cabin 10 together, they share two large patios via a sliding barn door (this can be closed and locked if you want separate private patios) so it felt like our two families were staying together. Each cabin has an outdoor kitchen with grill and seating area. Our kids (6 and 8) loved the tractor-seat bar stools and rolling tables. The sleeping loft was a blast for the kids and really made it easy for the 4 of us to comfortably fit in single cabin. Also, the word "cabin" is a bit of an understatement as these are really like an upscale hotel. The onsite restaurants (pool grille and Lodge) are only open April - Sept so we were not able to take advantage of those amenities, however, we brought food and used the outdoor kitchen (luckily the weather was nice!). This setup worked great as the adults ate on one patio and the kids together on the other! I do recommend you bring some food as the nearest restaurants and grocery stores are about 15 - 20 min away. Beds were comfortable and cabins were clean. We will be coming back again for sure - this time in the summer so we can take advantage of the pool and other amenities (and we are bringing our boat as they have a marina on site).

Cabin on Lake Travis
What an amazing place! Our cabin had all the amenities you would ever want and need. The luxurious bath and bed were like a little piece of heaven. The outdoor kitchen and patio were perfect for the family to enjoy the beauty of this little lake view Retreat. We will absolutely be staying there every Spring.

Weekend at the Reserve
Your resort is very nice, however we were unaware that construction would be going on. Not as relaxing as planned.

Review of Cabin #12
The unit was not ready for us when we arrived. It had not been properly cleaned. Once it was clean, we were happy with the unit. Their was mostly construction around our unit as most of the other ones were being built. Parking was also an issue as we had to park across the street from the unit and walk a little ways to get to our unit. And we had a lot of luggage to carry.

The property, resort, & area in general was gorgeous. I would return. A lot of deer. The Cypress Club Lodge was so gorgeous. The pool area was gorgeous! Cabin was clean, with the exception of dust on the end tables. Downfall: construction on other cabins was happening right outside our cabin. This made for a noisy morning. I was disappointed that I couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation without hearing a jack hammer. I wish we would have been told this would be going on before we booked. Otherwise, it was a wonderful getaway!

Peaceful and Quiet
When I was looking for a quiet, beautiful cabin near a lake, The Reserve at Lake Travis matched my vision exceptionally. The cabin was exactly as described and more. It was clean, had all the amenities we needed, had the perfect view of a peaceful morning sunrise and was a quiet spot for my family to spend our Spring Break. My son took advantage of the catch and release pond for a little daily fishing and I enjoyed early morning runs around the beautiful property. We will definitely come back to this location to take advantage of the pool and lazy river. It was a bit too cold this time, but gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful bath with fireplace. We loved this place so much and can't wait to return.

Great spot for a relaxing stay
This property was exactly as pictured. It's well-appointed and comfortable and everything was exactly as we expected--very cute. The Reserve at Lake Travis pools are great. They are a little bit of a walk from the cabin, so if I had really young children, I would have wanted a stroller, but my 7 & 8 year olds managed fine. The location is pretty isolated, so we did not leave the property to go out to eat or to the store once we arrived. We brought groceries with us and used the grill to prepare dinner one night. The property has a small sink for washing dishes, but it is manageable, and it was outfitted with sufficient cookware to prepare meals on the grill. We ate lunch at the pool both days and ate dinner at the Cypress Lodge one night. All meals were good, although the menus were fairly limited. We'd definitely stay there again, although we'd love to enjoy the outside more, so we might pick a cooler time of year to go.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful property. My only complaint is that the laundry folding door was broken when we arrived, and there were no trash bags for the trash cans. The cabin was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We’d definitely come back.

Property was beautiful! Cabin was amazing, perfect for the 3 of us. I loved the fact that I could bring my boat and keep it docked at the marina! Staff was wonderful and we will be coming to the Reserve at Lake Travis again!

Unit not well kept up by owner
If we were able to move to another unit... we would have. The AC would not get below 77F in the lower area and the loft was even warmer. The outside area was overgrown and not usable, the sliding doors to the closet were off the tracks. We have stayed at another unit nearby and it was fantastic.

The Reserve amenities and location were great. The property unit was not clean overall which included stained sheets and a comforter. Notified the management company to have the unit cleaned and they only changed the sheets and didn’t not address the other concerns we brought up.
