  Cabin 13 stay 6/27-6/30
We found the cabin to be very clean and spacious for my family of 4. The only complaint I have was that there was construction everyday on the other units being built. The workers started at 7:30AM and worked well past 6PM plus they were working on the roof of the other buildings which gave them full site into our cabin and deck, which made it very uncomfortable to sit outside.

  A family vacation !
Our stay was wonderful! The property was clean and well equipped with just what we needed to cook with. Our family enjoyed the beautiful landscape and friendly staff who helped us get from our cabin to the marina. We did not get a chance to enjoy the pool but our boys had a blast and we loved spending our first family vacation on the boat there at the reserve. Thank you!

  Good cabin but the facility has limitations if you have small children
We stayed in this cabin in July of 2017 with one other couple and two 2 year olds. The cabin itself was very nice with a beautiful finish out, comfortable furniture and nice linens but The Reserve has many limitations for young children. For example, the pool does not open until 11am!! This is troublesome if your children wake up at 7am and you need something to do. We filled this time by renting a boat from neighboring Lakeway Marina. I am SO glad we did this other wise we would have been bouncing off the walls! The cabin also has a VERY limited kitchen and refrigerator storage which is probably fine for adults but again for small children a bigger kitchen would have been better. The property itself is also a solid 15-20 minutes away from any restaurant or donut shop to grab a quick bite to eat. There are restaurants on property but the pool restaurant does not open until noon and there were no dinner options the weekend we stayed as they were having a wedding reception. I think this cabin and property is better suited for couples than for families.

  Cabin Rentals Clearly an Afterthought
Beautiful grounds and units. However, the level of hospitality isn't quite what you'd expect from a true resort or even a hotel: You get a number to text if you have questions before checkin. Every question i asked was answered very shortly, not even full sentences. EX: Q: Can I use the pool or other amenities the morning before I check in? "unfortunately we can not" Q: Do the kitchenettes have pots or pans? "Silverware Kitchen Kitchenette, Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Microwave, Toaster," (actual quotes). It's like they didn't bother to actually answer me. Kind of a weird first impression. The Gate Code you use to enter your cabin each time is a random 10-digit number (why not make it my cell phone #?). The key only works on the sliding door once you're inside the gate. You're not allowed to park close to the cabins, and dragging luggage through the long gravel path is not well thought out. The parking area for cabin guests is very dusty, uncovered, and unlit. There is no actual path from a room to the pool. You have to cross some grass and walk along the side of the road (no sidewalk). In fact, you can't even enter the pool from the closest gate to the cabins because it's "resident only". Rather, you have to walk nearly twice as far to enter it from the lower side. Once you're in the pool area, you can't get up to the lazy river / swim up bar / pool grill without leaning around and opening a locked employee side gate... there's no other way for the cabin guests to enter this promised amenity. Felt weird, like we were trespassing or lower class than the "residents" who did get natural access. On Friday night, the pool bar was not open and there were no towels at the towel service area. We also had to bring our own on Sunday. For a $100 cleaning fee on top of daily rate and no housekeeping during your stay, its rich to expect guests to start a load of laundry for the cleaning crew, esp when we could not check in

Guest enjoyed this home very much, all great comments. Thank you. Again the only issue was Turnkey reservations and an entire day wasted with their lack of ability to resolve their own mistakes and get a proper Manager to resolve the issue.

  Perfect cabin!
The cabin was immaculate and the experience beyond expectations. This is the perfect weekend getaway. Lots of amenities. Essentially a home away from home.

  The Reserve
Unfortunately, the unit was dirty and had to be recleaned after we arrived. Floors were filthy, as were the white bathroom carpets. Sprinklers ran outside the unit 24/7 from Friday morning and were still running when we left on Monday morning, even though we alerted the management at the Welcome Center on Saturday morning.

  Small gem
We rented this unit as a supplement to a larger one and found it to be convenient to the pool and marina while offering modern comfort. We especially liked the indoor/outdoor shower!

  Great location but needs some TLC.
Overall the rental could be great. The bedrooms are really big but the common area is cramped. The sofa bed has a huge urine stain on it and we found a white throw blanket with the same stain. Shower water pressure is awful. King mattress is rather uncomfortable as well. When we stayed it was somewhat cold out and I couldn't get the house to warm up past 67 and the heat was on for 3 days set at 75.

  Reserve Cabin 13
The cabin was great, however, there were issues regarding amenities and cleanliness (ie, no tissue and patio furniture not clean). Also, turnkey rental company not very helpful with info providing pool towels etc (ie, we never were told the Reserve resort pool is only open on weekends — no pool towels, ammenities, pool cafe not available during week until summer etc)
